Backpacking Chairs, regular upright chairs and lounge chairs……what other kinds of camping chair are there? How about a chair with a cooler underneath? This is nice if you are going someplace where you want to have some cool drinks right at your fingertips. Then there are chairs for the kids. Since we have been taking our kids camping we have found that they love to have their own chair. It seems to add to the sense they have that camping is some kind of grand adventure. Let’s take a look at some fun chairs that you can choose from. First we will start with cooler chairs, from cheap and maybe a bit goofy to a more refined beverage cooler built into a nice camping chair.
A low priced option. This is probably great if you are not worried about coming home with your chair after at the end of your trip!

Still, the chair above does not look all that comfortable. If you don’t want to be toting around a cooler and having it under foot, here is a nice chair that can keep a few cool ones at your fingertips and provide you with a decent camping chair seat…..

This Coleman Chair is the most expensive of this bunch but is not all that bad, costing a little more than $30.
Children’s Camping Chairs
If you happen to have a little princess, and you have no doubt about what I am talking about if you have a little girl like this, this beach chair might be just the thing for her. While it is a “beach” chair it can work real well for a camping trip where you are not going far from the car. The one shown here is pink but it also comes in some other colors too.
